Bridge Leader
alhamdulillah to first week of school. bl duties went smooth & first day in class was great. haha fine, i'm lying. first day in class was hell. CA literally called me Siti upon me reaching class. my new classmates were a hilarious bunch. & i made time for my 2nd year friends so 1st week of school was great.
he's Syafiq, the other bl i had to partner with for NY1301E. he's nice, fun to be with & friendly. so it wasn't difficult to get along with him. just that he has this habit of going missing without a trace. haha. first day of school, 1E was hell. had kids skipping the activities & some others not wanting to co-operate. they were the devils in my eyes. hahaha i swear i couldn't handle them. but i cant blame them. i was like that too, last year, this month. orientations are sucha bore. we're no longer kids so please change the games & stuffs. i understood what they were going thru so i tried being their friend. well i thought to myself that maybe i'd do that on the 2nd day of their orientation. & upon reaching home, i dozed off to sleep without eating or cleaning myself up. yeap, i was dead tired.
& then came the 2nd day of orientation. this time round, things went pretty well with them. it was easier to communicate with 1E when you start being their friend instead of their leader. made some friends, i repeat some. well i had to bc of the fact that i will be repeating my 1st year. & the class i'm supposed to be in didnt motivate me to go to school as soon as i found out who they were. they are funny but lame most of the times haha opps. it's safe to say that i love 1E now. :-)
3rd day of orientation was the best. though for the fact that i was late. woke up an hour late haha dang. there was this drawing & pasting competition for every engineering class. 1E ended up pasting real faces & eyes on the bird. guess what? it didnt even look like a bird, not even close. even Mr Chai laughed his ass off looking at it. love my class man. i really do. even those quiet ones. they might seem quiet now but give them atleast 3 months, they'll be out of their box & things will change. oh & engineering didn't make it this year. it's ok, engine tetap champion. aing.
these were the guys & girls i associated with the most during the orientations. they are a fun pack. we exchanged jokes & stories. aiman, he's a friend since primary school. so its approximately 12 years since we first met. he's more of an out-going person now. without them, bl wouldnt be a thing for me. not that i hate being in it but i never thought i could fit in. thanks to everyone in bl for giving me the opportunity to be one of them. it was a memorable one & a great experience. especially to these guys & girls, i wouldn't be able to survive the orientations without you people. swear i had lots of fun. 1E was amazing. the BLs were awesome. & forever engine kia! ceh haha. ok stahp it.
not to forget my beloved NY1201D friends that made it to 2nd year this year. met them in between the orientations & they literally made my day when they spent a little time wimme. wish each & everyone of them the best! as for me, i need to get along with my new mates. i can't go on walking around school all alone. loner kan? ikr. things are different without my old mates. no one was there to place an order for my lunch! :-( ah huh i used to depend on my old pals to place an order for me. but i promised myself to be a little bit more independent this year & i will. trust me, i will.
